The Zen of Sea Glass

I wander at the water's edge, over shells and pebbles, listening to the quiet hiss of an ebbing tide. It is so peaceful. I walk with head down, looking at nothing, noticing everything. I amble along, hoping to be left alone. I view any beach as my own, and hope each stroll will be undisturbed save for the elements of the sea.

I look for bits of color and for familiar shapes. Once seen, I scoop the prize into my hand, and then to the baggie in my pocket. Treasures. I love it here.
